With the SwitchBot Smart Curtain Motor, the curtains open and close automatically. The SwitchBot is a small, wireless robot that you attach to the rod of the curtains without tools. This model only works on a rod. The motor uses a Bluetooth connection, after which you can control it via the app. You can also set time schedules in the app, so the curtains automatically close in the evening, for example. Do you quickly want to close the curtains during the day? Give a short tug on the curtain and the motor will close the curtains the rest of the way. In addition, the motor has a sun sensor. You can set up the curtains so that they close when the sun is on the window. That’s useful if you want to keep the heat out during a hot summer. Note: this model only works on a curtain rod.
